Want to build applications faster and at lower cost?
What if you could better share and re-purpose the software assets which your business has developed over the last 2 years right through your entire business? Imagine what software has been developed across an entire enterprise over a period of years? There’s client-facing mobile applications, reporting dashboards, partner portals, mobile forms to automate processes and much more.
Sharing software elements enables a business to spread costs across different divisions; lower overall costs to develop solutions as replication is reduced; re-use existing elements of applications (functional widgets) to increase the speed to innovate with new applications or modify existing ones.
This is all possible now. Experieco has built a platform to enable businesses to do just that. It’s incredibly powerful and builds highly configurable applications. The premise is that many businesses are inefficient in the way software has been developed as it’s often a waterfall process to develop a business case and build any new application. There’s no room in this process to finance any capability beyond the immediate application being built. It often results in expensive software being built that can’t be re-purposed efficiently or without implication to the original application. So Experieco looked at this problem, and, coupled with the need to build applications faster and make modifying them easier, they came up with a solution.
The result was to build a feature on the Appnivity platform that enabled functional widgets within an application, or an entire application to be cloned within seconds. These cloned widgets or applications are entirely independent of the original, so they can be modified or re-purposed without any implication to the originals.
This has created the opportunity for businesses to think differently and become more collaborative across business units or divisions. Executed successfully over time, a business can build up real software assets that can be easily re-used elsewhere within the business at low, or no cost. A true competitive advantage.
